The Genre of my Music magazine

The Genre i have choosen to use for my music magazine is indie. I have choosen this type of genre because i listen to that type of music the most and i believe it is become very popular with people my age.

Introduction to coursework

I have been given the task for my Media coursework. I have to create a front cover, contents page and double page spread of a new music magazine. The magazine needs to contain my own idea's and picture's and I need to make sure that the magazine that i create attracts my target auidence.
In order to complete the first stage (research and planning) of my coursework i need to do the following things:

• Pick my genre
• Research and analyse current magazines - magazine front cover x2, contents page x2, double page spread x2 and college new letters
• Create a questionaire
• Create college magazine front cover
• Mood boards
• Mock up of magazine
